OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME:
The sector of upper schooling is at the moment present process a transformative part as a way to adapt to international developments. In an effort to encourage college students to pursue engineering schooling at diploma and UG stage within the core branches of engineering, AICTE has formulated a scholarship scheme for meritorious college students searching for admission in core branches of Engineering. Scheme being applied by AICTE goals for encouraging pupil to pursue technical schooling in core branches of engineering i.e. Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Digital and Mechanical Engineering in AICTE authorised technical establishments.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP:
1) The candidate ought to be admitted to First yr of Diploma/ Diploma stage course in any of the AICTE authorised establishments of respective yr.
NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS:
1) A complete of 5,000 scholarships (2,500 for diploma programs and a couple of,500 for diploma programs) are earmarked every year beneath this scheme for college kids pursuing First yr of Diploma/ Diploma stage engineering course in any of the AICTE authorised Establishments.
2) State/Union Territory sensible distribution of 5,000 scholarships (2,500 for diploma programs and a couple of,500 for diploma programs) is as per Annexure-A and Annexure-B.
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP:
A) Diploma Stage College students
i. Rs. 18,000/- every year for yearly of examine i.e. most 4 years for first yr admitted college students.
B) Diploma Stage College students
i. Rs. 12,000/- every year for yearly of examine i.e. most 3 years for first yr admitted college students.
PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING:
1. The candidate fulfilling the eligibility situations is required to use on-line on Nationwide Scholarship Portal (NSP) after initiation of utility course of and spot to be printed on AICTE web site.
